Sneak Peek of Spring Challenge Entry!

I've been working on my Spring Challenge entry for SVGCuts and just wanted to show a sneak peek, I'm lovin' it so far, it's almost done, just have to add some embellishments and jazz up the landscaping.  I used the egg from the kit Poplar Street Tulips, can you tell what it is?

April Avenue

If you haven't seen the new collection April Avenue over at SVGCuts.com you must, it's simply adorable!!  I just love the bunnies, but the whole collection is just great.

Here is a card I made using some of the cuts, I just love this umbrella too, I think I will be using this often.  The eyes I made in Make the Cut, if you would like them you can download them from this link, http://irishmist59.blogspot.com/2012/02/cute-eyes-svg-and-mtc-files.html .  Since they were small I did a print n cut instead of cutting them out, I explain in the link the different ways I use them.

Let's Play Scrabble

I just love the scrabble pieces in SVGCuts new kit Playful Parlour.  I used them here for this Father's Day card, I like the way they add dimension.  I got the scrabble board online and did a print n cut to use as the background.  I made the tiny Happy Father's Day and Dad letters in Make the Cut also doing a print n cut.  The accent frames that the DAD is on top of are from the kit too.  If you haven't already checked out the kit, you must, it's just awesome, I can't wait to make the birdcage!

More Projects

Here are a couple of projects that I just didn't have time to post.

First an Angel using Echo Park's Victoria Gardens Digital Paper, I think this is my favorite paper, it's just so pretty and I love that I can print it over and over again.  The rose is from SVGCuts.com, Happy Birthday to You kit, I love this kit, the card and cupcake down below is from this kit as is the teacup.

You can get the template to make this Angel here, http://fred-she-said.blogspot.com/2010/12/paper-angels-and-svg-freebies.html, Tracey, "Fred" angels are just so beautiful!!

Easter basket slide out card, I made one of these two years ago with the cricut and thought this basket from SVGCuts Easter Morning Egg Hunt would be perfect.

I did a print n cut for both the Happy Birthday and for the slider insert.

These next two projects I used SVGCuts Happy Birthday to You kit, I just love the cupcake, and the card design is really lovely.

For this teacup I modified the bottom of the cupcake, it makes a cute little gift for a sick friend.

Egg-cellent Easter

Love the Easter Morning Egg Hunt Collection from SVGCut.com!!  For this card I used the little chick and cracked egg and two of the Easter eggs, the banner and background paper is Echo Park's This & That Charming.  I bought both of these digital kits, Charming and Graceful and just love them.  I did a print n cut on the banner.  If you would like the eyes I have the download under both svg files and mtc files.

Some Birthday Wishes!

I just love Echo Park's Victoria Gardens paper, I bought the digital paper kit, it's just my favorite paper to use.  I'm so happy that I can print it out over and over again, I think if I had the paper pack I wouldn't use it, I'd  be hoarding it, LOL.  SVGCut's new kit this week, Poplar Street Tulips has this awesome bracket cut file that I just love and thought it would go so nicely with this paper.  I used the top piece as a Print n Cut, which is my new favorite thing to do with my Zing, she makes it so easy to do.  All the pieces were cutout on white cardstock and then colored with my ProMarkers.  The flower and bow are also from SVGCuts, they are both free files.

Springtime Wishes

SVGCut's came out with their new kit,
Poplar Street Tulips,
if you spend $9.98 you get this kit free, use code FREEGIFT in the discount coupon section.

Here is a Easel Card I made using the tulip from the kit with some modifications.  I made a tulip easel card before using my cricut and the Bloom cardridge, I thought I would recreate it with some of svgcuts files.  I also used the tulip and flourish from Easter Morning Egg Hunt Collection

Up Up and Away

I'm having so much fun printing patterned paper with my Epson 1400!  I've bought some packs from Jessica Sprague and just thought Echo Park's A Boy's Life was just so adorable, expecially having all boys.  I printed out a couple to use with this Easter card.  All the cut's are from SVGCuts, the rainbow and pocket are free files from them.  The eyes on the bunny are the one's I have for download in the Cute Eyes Post, I just did a print n cut with them, too small to cut out.

Cute Eyes SVG and MTC Files

Michelle from michellemybellescreations did a tutorial on how to make eyes in Make the Cut, here is the link http://michellemybellescreations.blogspot.com/2012/01/bear-eyes-tutorial-using-makethecut.html and I just loved them so much I made my own.  I'm uploading a svg and mtc file, there is a couple of ways that I do the eyes, if I'm cutting on white paper I can just do a print and cut, or I can do a print and cut and then cut out the eye layers and glued them on.

Here I wanted to add dimension so I did a print n cut and then cut out the three eye layers and glued them together.

This is how it looks with the layers added.  The dog card is from SVGCut's Charm and Chance Kit.  I had to make the brown eye opening bigger so the eye would fit.

Print n Cut using white paper colored with ProMarkers, no layers.  The bear is from SVGCut's Candy Cherub Bear Collection.

Chick card using I made using SVGCuts new kit Hippity Hoppity.

Here are the Eye Files, you can change the color pieces to whatever color you would like.
